<br />Mr. Davis has extensive experience in the planning, design, and construction of rail-
<br />road projects, tunnels, bridges, and underground excavations and support systems.
<br />As market segment leader for freight rail in the west region, Mr. Davis is responsible
<br />for the oversight of AECOM projects for BNSF, Union Pacific, and other freight rail
<br />and intermodal goods- movement clients. His experience includes over 16 years of
<br />heavy high -speed freight and passenger line work with Southern Pacific Transpor-
<br />tation Company (SPTC) where he was responsible for supervision, budget prepa-
<br />ration, and safety procedures for bridge and tunnel maintenance forces. He also
<br />served as project manager for remediation of a major chemical spill in the Sacra-
<br />mento River, and cleanup of Bunker -C fuel contamination in railyards.
<br />Alameda Corridor Project, Alameda Corridor Transportation Authority (ACTA),
<br />Los Angeles, California: Construction relations manager for ACTA's $2.4 billion,
<br />23 -mile grade- separated urban freight rail corridor. Managed and supervised
<br />consultant teams and multi - discipline staff that provided public outreach
<br />assistance. As representative of the Alameda Corridor, organized and executed
<br />community and business forums along with open houses. Responsible for
<br />development and distribution of construction information to business owners, as
<br />well as public and special interest groups by providing flyers, construction alerts,
<br />and collateral material in English and Spanish. As liaison officer, worked directly
<br />with construction crews, owners, tenants and special interest groups to resolve
<br />construction related disputes.
<br />MetrolinK br age and Building Department, Los Angeles, California: As supervisor/
<br />structure inspector, supervised work force in the repair, maintenance, and
<br />construction of railroad bridges and structures under live track conditions for the
<br />heavy freight and high -speed passenger line serving the greater Los Angeles area.
<br />Reviewed drawings and specifications, prepared reports, and conducted field
<br />inspections of railroad bridges, tunnels and structures. Provided construction
<br />management and prepared work orders for construction of railroad projects.
<br />Responsible for bridge, structures and drainage maintenance schedules with
<br />emphasis on safety and adherence to standard railroad specifications
<br />Southern Pacific Transportation Company, Engineering Cenartment, Various
<br />Locations: Provided project management for special projects, including
<br />environmental post chemical contamination and rehabilitation of ecosystems;
<br />and construction and installation of extraction wells for longterm remediation
<br />of oil contaminated soil. Coordinated between departmental staff, regulatory
<br />agencies, municipalities, contractors and engineers to minimize delays to freight
<br />and passenger train movements and construction schedules. Served as a member
<br />of the railroad emergency disaster response team for derailments, chemical spills,
<br />washouts, tunnel fires and earthquakes.

<br />Angeles, California. Force account manager for the Alameda Corridor Engineering
<br />Team (ACET) -the program, utility, and real estate management consultant
<br />responsible for providing design and construction support services for ACTA's
<br />$2.4 billion, 23 -mile, grade- separated, urban freight rail corridor from the ports
<br />of Los Angeles and Long Beach to the Los Angeles area. Coordinated preparation
<br />of preliminary /final design drawings and bid documents; prepared engineering
<br />reports; recommended alternatives; reviewed and reconciled force account
<br />invoices and payment authorizations. Coordinated rail, infrastructure and private
<br />utility relocations with railroads and engineers; coordinated construction phasing
<br />among various project stakeholders including, railroads, municipalities and
<br />regulatory agencies. Provided technical and managerial support to the Division
<br />Construction Manager.
