Manuals /Standards - Where applicable, engineering design of all PROJECT <br />improvements shall be compatible and in accordance with the following, but <br />not limited to: <br />• A Policy on Geometric Design of Highways and Streets (AASHTO) <br />• CPUC General Orders Requirements <br />• California Regional Water Quality Control Board Requirements <br />• Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) <br />• Standard Specifications for Public Works Construction (SSPWC) <br />• Caltrans Project Development Procedures Manual (PDPM) <br />• Caltrans Highway Design Manual <br />• Caltrans Guidelines for Preparing a Preliminary Environmental Analysis <br />Report (PEAR) <br />• Caltrans Standard Environmental Reference <br />• OCTA Right of Way Manual <br />• BNSF Design Guidelines for Industrial Track Projects <br />• BNSF Utility Accommodation Policy <br />• SCRRA Grade Separation Guidelines <br />• City of Santa Ana Standard Plans and Specifications <br />It shall be the responsibility of the Consultant to verify that the latest version <br />and /or update of these documents are obtained. <br />G. The Consultant's work will be subject to inspections by representatives of the <br />City of Santa Ana and other involved agencies. <br />VI. PROJECT BUDGET <br />The maximum project budget for performing all tasks defined in the scope of <br />work is $1.3 million. <br />VII. PERFORMANCE PERIOD <br />A. The contract shall begin upon approval by the City Council, and the <br />Consultant shall commence work after notification to proceed by the City. <br />Unless extended by contract amendment, the contract shall terminate upon <br />acceptance by the City of Santa Ana of the PROJECT and upon completion <br />of the terms of this agreement by the Consultant. <br />B. The Consultant is advised that any recommendation for contract award is not <br />binding on the City until the Agreement and all pertinent paperwork are fully <br />executed and approved by the City Council. <br />15 <br />
