<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> five (5) sets of half-size (11" x 17"} engineering plans and preliminary <br /> quantities and estimates plus electronic files for each conceptual engineering <br /> plan submittal to the City. Additionally, the Consultant shall provide the <br /> necessary number of copies of engineering plans to participating agencies <br /> and other interested parties for review and comment. Plans shall be prepared <br /> in conformance with the latest City Computer-Aided Design and Drafting <br /> (CADD}standard. The Consultant shall coordinate review and approval of rail <br /> realignment and shoofly design with appropriate agencies. The conceptual <br /> engineering plans shall be at a scale of 1" = 20' and shall include, but not be <br /> limited to, the following: <br /> <br /> 1. Existing and proposed centerlines and right-of-way lines, curb lines, <br /> easements, medians, sidewalks and join lines on public and private <br /> properties. <br /> 2. Topographic survey for the PROJECT area to facilitate the preparation <br /> of engineering drawings, right-of-way maps and itemized cost <br /> estimates for traffic handling, construction and right-of-way acquisition. <br /> 3. Plans for Santa Ana Boulevard and OCTA Metrolink RR (proposed <br /> track and shoofly} including profiles and superelevation diagrams. <br /> 4. Plans and details for railroad bridge to accommodate the existing two <br /> tracks and an additional future track (including Advanced Planning <br /> Study level of detail}. <br /> 5. Plans for retaining walls} and soundwall(s} (if necessary}. <br /> 6. Plans for existing utilities and drainage, including relocation of existing <br /> utilities and assessment of a pump station for the sump condition <br /> resulting from the proposed depressed roadway (if necessary}. <br /> 7. Plans and details for access modifications, including creating cul-de- <br /> sacs at affected intersections as needed. <br /> 8. Street approaches for all legs of the intersections at Interstate 5 (I-5} <br /> ramps, Santiago Street, and Santa Ana Boulevard to ensure <br /> appropriate lane transitions. <br /> 9. Plans for necessary preliminary grading. <br /> 10.PIans forchannelization and signal modification. <br /> 11.PIans for stage construction, traffic handling, and detour (including <br /> detour layouts, profiles and superelevation diagrams, construction area <br /> signs, etc...}. <br /> <br /> Deliverables -Conceptual Drawings. <br /> <br /> L. Right-of-Way <br /> <br /> The Consultant shall determine the right-of-way required and the right-of-way <br /> data sheet estimates for each PROJECT's alternative. The Consultant shall <br /> prepare right of way maps on the scale of 1" = 20'. Right-of-way map shall <br /> include existing and new street centerlines, existing and proposed right-of <br /> way lines, property lines, agency boundaries, all adjacent parcels and cross <br /> <br /> <br /> 11 <br />
