Authorize the City Manager and Clerk of the Council to execute an agreement with the <br /> Santa Ana Management Association regarding wages and other terms and conditions of <br /> employment. <br /> 2_ Adopt a resolution amending the City's Basic Management Classification and <br /> Compensation Plan (No. 91-066) to provide salary and benefit adjustments to unrepresented <br /> Executive Management consistent with those approved for the Santa Ana Management <br /> Association. <br /> DISCUSSION <br /> The City and the Santa Ana Management Association (SAMA) recently completed contract <br /> negotiations resulting in a proposed four-year contract extension to the FY 2004-10 Memorandum <br /> of Understanding (Exhibit 1). The extension period covers July 1, 2010 through June 30, 2014. <br /> The City Manager is requesting that the provisions agreed to by SAMA be applied to <br /> unrepresented Executive Management in order to maintain appropriate salary differentials <br /> between job classifications and consistency in salary and benefit administration among <br /> management units. <br /> The primary provisions of the SAMA and Executive Management compensation proposals are as <br /> follows: <br /> 1) Salary: 07101/10 - 06/30/11 = O% <br /> 07101111 - 06/30/12 = 3.0% <br /> 07101112 - 06/30/13 = 3.5% <br /> 07/01/13 - 06/30/14 = O% <br /> 55A-1 <br />
