MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING NO. C-9-0826 EXHIBIT A CONSULTANT shall take into consideration the pedestrian timing parameters used by the local agency on a case by case basis. 4. Timing parameters which incorporate minimal pedestrian activity to provide the optimum vehicle split and offset timing and accommodate pedestrians using various pedestrian timing adjustment techniques for pedestrian splits during coordination. 5. Appropriate cycle lengths and signal groupings consistent with the goals of this effort. Preliminary proposed cycle lengths and signal groupings were developed by the previous consultant and presented to the agencies for review and comment. All agency preliminary comments have been addressed by the previous consultant. Additionally, the previous consultant has recommended time -of -day start and stop intervals for the various timing plans. 6. CONSULTANT shall update, at minimum, timing plans which consider the following peak periods: a.m. peak, mid -day peak, p.m. peak and one weekend peak. Timing plans shall be in both Synchro format and the preferred timing chart format of each agency. 7. CONSULTANT shall update timing plans for a.m. peak, mid -day peak, p.m. peak and a weekend peak based on the upcoming improvements for the corridor as identified. Timing plans shall be in Synchro format and the preferred timing chart format of each agency. 8. CONSULTANT shall review, verify, and update the previously prepared Time -Space Diagrams for the synchronized segments along the BRT Corridor. Previous consultant prepared a Draft Signal Timing Optimization Plan detailing the signal timing optimization, including detail evaluation and recommendation on the time -referencing system and analysis results. The Draft Signal Timing Optimization Plan included, but was not limited to, the following: a. Proposed cycle lengths and signal groupings by corridor and by agency b. All Draft optimized and synchronized traffic signal timing plans in Synchro format, including (a) existing corridor conditions and (b) planned and programmed improvements (widening projects and intersection improvements) within the next five years (after NTP). c. Draft Time -Space diagrams for the synchronized segments along the BRT Corridor. The Draft Signal Timing Optimization Plan was submitted to AUTHORITY and agencies for review and comment.
