MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING NO. C-9-0826 <br />EXHIBIT A <br />SECTION 4.0 TRAFFIC SIGNAL SYNCHRONIZATION IMPLEMENTATION <br />4.1 TASK AND DELIVERABLE REQUIREMENTS <br />The TSS Implementation Phase, which includes but is not limited to, signal <br />timing implementation, furnishing of equipment, equipment installation, and <br />support services, is outlined in the following sections: Bristol/State College BRT <br />Corridor TSS Implementation Services (Part "A"), Harbor Boulevard BRT <br />Corridor TSS Implementation Services (Part "B"), and Westminster/17th Street <br />BRT Corridor TSS Implementation Services (Part "C"). <br />Electronic files of approved reports and planning documents shall be provided to <br />AUTHORITY (in format(s) as approved by AUTHORITY in writing). <br />CONSULTANT must conduct thorough quality control/quality assurance steps <br />prior to submitting deliverables, data, documents, and other related project <br />information to AUTHORITY for review. CONSULTANT shall submit four (4) hard <br />copies and four (4) electronic file copies (in a media as approved by <br />AUTHORITY in writing) of any and all reports, exhibits, plans, and documents. <br />4.2 PART "A" — BRISTOL/STATE COLLEGE BRT CORRIDOR TSS <br />IMPLEMENTATION SERVICES <br />4.2.1 TASK A-1: BRISTOL/STATE COLLEGE BRT CORRIDOR TSS SERVICES — <br />SIGNAL TIMING IMPLEMENTATION <br />CONSULTANT shall submit a Bristol/State College BRT Corridor technical <br />memorandum containing the field implementation of optimized traffic signal plans <br />for existing corridor conditions, including all required fine tuning and timing charts <br />as requested by AUTHORITY and agencies, and final signal timing <br />implementation plan to AUTHORITY and agencies within thirty (30) days of NTP <br />of the BRT corridors TSS Implementation Phase for written approval by <br />AUTHORITY. <br />CONSULTANT shall submit four (4) hard copies and four (4) electronic copies (in <br />electronic media as approved by AUTHORITY in writing) of the Bristol/State <br />College BRT Corridor technical memorandum to AUTHORITY for written <br />approval prior to commencement of signal timing implementation. <br />Upon written approval of the optimized signal timings by AUTHORITY and <br />agencies, CONSULTANT shall implement, or assist agencies' staff in the <br />implementation of new signal timings at all signalized intersections except those <br />located within Caltrans District 12 jurisdiction either through: 1) the central traffic <br />signal system (if available) or, 2) direct implementation in the field traffic signal <br />controllers. Caltrans District 12 shall be responsible for the implementation of <br />new signal timings at all signalized intersections located within their jurisdiction. <br />Scope of Work 66 05/18/10 <br />
