MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING NO. C-9-0825 <br />EXHIBIT A <br />3. Axle classification traffic counts, in MS Excel format, collected during the <br />month of October 2008. <br />4. Intersection peak period turning movement traffic counts, in MS Excel <br />format, collected during the month of October, early November 2008 (prior <br />to the Thanksgiving holiday), and late May 2009. <br />For all existing signalized intersections in which existing signal timing is modified <br />or where new signalized intersections are constructed during the TSS Design <br />Finalization Phase, CONSULTANT shall collect from the respective agencies all <br />updated or new timing sheets and traffic signal as-built drawings for incorporation <br />into the Signal Timing Optimization task. Anticipated existing signal timing <br />modifications and new signalized intersections along the Harbor Boulevard BRT <br />Corridor include, but are not limited to, the following: <br />a. Harbor Boulevard at Houston Avenue (new signalized intersection) <br />b. Harbor Boulevard at Chapman Avenue (South) (signal timing modification) <br />c. Harbor Boulevard at Twintree Lane (new signalized intersection) <br />d. Harbor Boulevard at Kent Avenue (new signalized intersection) <br />The anticipated existing signal timing modifications and new signalized <br />intersection locations listed above are for reference only and CONSULTANT <br />shall coordinate and verify with the respective agencies. <br />CONSULTANT shall provide a section in the technical memorandum deliverable <br />as described in Section 3.2.6 to AUTHORITY detailing the findings of the <br />completed Data Collection deliverables review. <br />3.2.4 TASK B-4: HARBOR BOULEVARD BRT CORRIDOR TSS DESIGN <br />FINALIZATION SERVICES -REVIEW COMPLETED INVENTORY OF <br />EXISTING TRAFFIC SIGNALS, FIELD MASTERS/HUBS LOCATIONS, SIGNAL <br />COMMUNICATIONS, AND TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS <br />Previous consultant reviewed the geometric layout, existing traffic signal <br />equipment, and identified any deficiencies (outdated controller <br />hardware/software, obsolete equipment, etc.) for each intersection along the <br />selected synchronized segments along the Harbor Boulevard BRT Corridor. <br />The review included an assessment of the existing intersection geometry <br />(number of lanes, lane width, lane storage, crosswalks, etc), traffic conditions, <br />and traffic signal control equipment along the Harbor Boulevard BRT Corridor <br />using observation, available as-built plans, consultation with the local agencies, <br />and agency aerial photos. With documented permission of the local agencies, <br />previous consultant inspected the interior of each traffic control cabinet and <br />made recommendations for equipment upgrades. <br />Scope of Work 44 05/18/1 O
