MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />C_TTY nF SANTA ANA. cALTFOYNTA <br />MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />NOVEMBER 25, 1996 <br />The Regular Meeting of the Santa Ana Planning Commission was called to order by <br />Madam Chair Brown at 6:05 p.m. in the City Council chambers, located at 22 Civic <br />Center Plaza, Room 147, Santa Ana, California. Other Commissioners present <br />included: Nalle, Doughty, Mondo, Segura, and Oliver arrived at 6:42 p.m. Also in <br />attendance were: Robyn Uptegraff, Executive Director; Kenneth Adams, Planning <br />Manager; Gary Sheatz, Deputy City Attorney; Jeffry Rice, Senior Planner; Charles <br />View, Senior Planner; Tom Childress, Associate Planner; Larry Yenglin, Associate <br />Planner; Pamela Lucado, Public Works Agency; Mike McCoy and Yolanda Pena, Police <br />Department; and Sharon McCain-Johnson, Recording Secretary. <br />A. Approval of the Minutaa from the Regular Meeting of November 11, 1996. <br />Approve the Minutes of the Regular Meeting of November 11, 1996. <br />B. Reconaideratioa of actions taken at the previous meeting. <br />None. <br />C. CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT NO. 96-37 (Tom Childress) <br />Filed by SSY Enterprises to allow a Type 47 Alcoholic Beverage Control <br />License in order to sale beer, wine, and distilled spirits at the CARAMBA <br />night club located at 226 South Harbor Boulevard. <br />RECOMlHSliDATION: <br />Confirm the Zoning Administrator's decision approving Conditional Use Permit <br />No. 96-37 as conditioned and adopt the findings as submitted by staff. <br />D. CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT NO. 96-38 (Larry Yenglin) <br />Filed by Me. Rachel Hashimoto to allow a Type 41 Alcoholic Beverage Control <br />License in order to allow the sale of beer and wine for on-premise <br />consumption at Koji's restaurant located at 323 North Sycamore Street. <br />' RECOMMENDATION: <br />Confirm the Zoning Administrator's decision approving Conditional Use Permit <br />No. 96-38 as conditioned and adopt the findings as submitted by staff. <br />E. GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT NO. 96-09 AND AMENDMENT APPLICATION NO. 96-12 <br />(Sergio Klotz) <br />Filed by the City of Santa Ana to rezone property from General Commercial <br />(C2) to Open Space (O)and redesignate property from District Center (DC) to <br />Open space (O). <br />LEGAL NOTICED: November 10, 1996 <br />PUBLIC NOTICED: November 13, 1996 <br />RECOMMENDATIONi <br />Continue General Plan Amendment No. 96-09 and Amendment Application No. 96-12 <br />to January 27, 1997. <br />*** E N D OF C O N S E N T*** <br />Madam Chair Brown reconsidered the action taken at the previous Planning <br />Commission for Conditional Use Permit No. 96-33 for Club Bvchereat.
