VARIANCE NO. 97-10 (Sergio Klotz) <br />' Filed by Mr. Richazd A. Gregory to allow a reduction in the industrial landscape setback and to allow <br />tandem pazking to facilitate a bus storage yard located at 628 East Washington Avenue in the Heavy <br />Industrial (M2) zoning district. <br />LEGALLY NOTICED: July 27, 1997 <br />PUBLICLY NOTICED: 7uly 3Q 1997 <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Adopt a resolution denying Variance No. 97-10. <br />Chairman Nalle stated that due to a conflict of interest, he would abstain from taking action on <br />Variance No. 97-10. <br />Mr. Sergio Klotz, Associate Planner, presented slides, provided an overview of the staff report and <br />recommendation. <br />Mr. Richard Gregory, Applicant, requested the Commission approve the plan as submitted to staff. <br />The following persons spoke in support of the applicant's project: <br />Roderick Bradfield <br />David Nickey <br />' Commissioner Mondo requested staff to confirm with the Fire Department acceptance of staff's <br />position. <br />Commissioner Hanna requested pictures of the six foot landscaping, clarification of the square footage <br />of landscaping, and clazification of safety from other agencies concerning staff's proposed single <br />driveway. <br />Commissioner Verino requested that the site plan review be completed and visual pictures of the site <br />be provided to the Commission. <br />MOTION: Continue Varimtce No. 97-I1 to August 25, 1997 <br />MOTION: Mondo SECONDED: Hanna <br />AYES: Oliver, Mondo, Verino, and Hanna <br />NOES: None <br />ABSTENTION: Nalle <br />ABSENT: Doughty and MacDowell <br />2.
