ZONING ORDINANCE AMENDMENT N0.99-08 <br />' Filed by the City of Santa Ana to delete a portion of Chapter 41, Section 478 for consistency with Chapter 41, <br />Section 1390 regarding parking manufacturing facilities in the Light Industrial (M1) zoning district. <br />LEGALLY NOTICED: August 13, 1999 <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />1. Recommend that the City Council adopt an ordinance approving Zoning Ordinance Amendment No. <br />99-08. <br />2. Recommend that the City Council receive and file the Categorical Exemption for Environmental <br />Review No. 99-108. <br />Mr. 7effry Rice, Principal Planner, presented staff report and recommendation. <br />There were no public comments. <br />Motion to: 1) recommend that the City Council adopt an ordinance approving Zoning Ordinance <br />Amendment No. 99-08; and 2) recommend that the City Council receive and fate the Categorical Exemption <br />for Environmental Review No. 99-108. <br />MOTION: Mondo SECONDED: Nalle <br />AYES: Verino, Mondo, Nalle, Doughty, Solorio, and Cribb <br />OPPOSED: None <br />ABSENT: Richardson <br />ABSTAINED: None <br />3. Oral Communications -Comments from the Public. <br />(For matters not listed on the Agenda). <br />There were no comments <br />4. Comments from the Planning Commission. <br />Commissioner Mondo requested follow up regarding code enforcement items previously discussed with Ms. <br />Uptegraff. <br />Commissioner Cribb requested a study session regarding the train station, the Logan azea, Birch Street as it <br />relates to French Park, and development projects on Santa Ana Boulevard. In addition, he requested follow up <br />regarding trash and debris problems on the off-ramp of the 5 Freeway at Broadway and in the Floral Park area. <br />Ms. Amerson responded that she would be meeting with CalTrans and she would provide an update. <br />5. Excuse of absences. <br />Commissioner Richardson moved to excuse the absence of Commissioner Richardson.
