Discussion ensued regarding the length of time the CUP would be in effect, the <br />allowable usage, weight and refueling, and the possibility of requests for a helistop <br />from the other dealers at the auto mall. <br />Chairman Mondo opened the public hearing. <br />Jen McSkimming, representing Robinson Helicopter, provided a response to the <br />weight and refueling issue. <br />' Chairman Mondo closed the public hearing. <br />Motion to adopt a resolufion approving Conditional Use Permit No. 2001-29 as <br />conditioned with a review by the Planning Commission after six months, and <br />an additions! requirement that it be for the sole use of the site operator. <br />MOTION: Nalle SECOND: Cribb <br />AYES: Cribb, Leo, Doughty, Mondo, Nalle, Richardson, Verino (7) <br />NOES: None (0) <br />ABSENT: None (0) <br />ABSTENTION: None (0) <br />5. Sycamore Street. <br />PUBLISHED IN THE REGISTER: November 17, 2001 <br />PUBLICLY NOTICED: November 16, 2001 <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />1. Approve and adopt the Mitigated Negative Declaration and Mitigation <br />Monitoring Program, Environmental Review No. 01-129. <br />2. Adopt a resolution approving Conditional Use Permit No. 2001-33 as <br />conditioned. <br />Verny Carvajal, Assistant Planner, presented the staff report. <br />Discussion held regarding the possibility of some the same conditions in the ABC <br />license being applied to the banquet facility, and the types of uses that will be <br />allowed, and whether or not the facility would be managed soley by Jason's Caterers. <br />Ben Kauffman clarified that the Conditional Use Permit would run with the land. <br />Chairman Mondo opened the public hearing. <br />Jason Kordas, representing Jason's Caterers, advised the Commission that he was <br />available to respond to any questions. <br />Discussion ensued regarding future review of the CUP. Mike McCoy advised the <br />' Commission that if there were an increase in police activity it would be brought back <br />to the Planning Commission for review. <br />Chairman Mondo closed the public hearing. <br />Motion to adopt a resolution approving Conditional Use Permit No. 2001-33 as <br />conditioned with the addition of items 1,5 and 8 from the police conditions set forth in <br />the approval of the ABC license, that the site operator have control of the facility. <br />COMMISSION MINUTES 6 NOVEMBER 26, 2001 <br />
