GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT NO.00-09 <br />(Continued from February 12, 2001) <br />Filed by Kilroy Realty Corporation to increase the floor area ratio in order to allow <br />the construction of a mezzanine to an existing industrial building located at 1951 <br />East Carnegie Avenue in the Light Industrial (M1) zoning district. <br />LEGALLY NOTICED: February 2, 2001 <br />PUBLICLY NOTICED: February 2, 2001 <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />' Recommend that the City Council deny General Plan Amendment No. 00-09. <br />1. Approve and certify the Negative Declaration for Environmental Review No. <br />00-210. <br />2. Adopt an ordinance approving Zoning Ordinance Amendment No. 00-19. <br />Lynnette Perry, Associate Planner, presented the staff report and <br />recommendation. <br />Chairman Mondo opened the public hearing at 7:22 p.m. <br />John Fucci and John Erskine provided comments in support of the amendment. <br />Discussion ensued on the mezzanine, the floor area ratio and code deficiencies. <br />Chairman Mondo closed the public hearing at 7:37 p.m. <br />Commissioner Richardson noted his support to address the issues of <br />landscaping, trash enclosure and outside storage screening deficiencies. <br />Motion to recommend that the City Council approve Genera!
