government EOCs using the NIMS/SEMS procedures and guidelines. During this <br />24-hour course, Willdan instructors will cover the following subjects: <br />1. The essential elements related to an EOC and how the local EOC <br />coordinates with the regional, state and federal entities. <br />2. The principles associated with disaster management, role of the EOC <br />and goals of emergency/disaster management. <br />3. Principles for an effective EOC operation. <br />4. Multi-Agency Coordination System principles of NIMS and the <br />application to an EOC. <br />5. The functions, responsibilities and procedures for EOCs including <br />activation, operations and demobilization. <br />Willdan will supply the course materials, instructor(s), and miscellaneous items <br />(badges, name tents, signage). This course can accommodate up to 40 students. <br />One (1) course delivery is planned for the Urban Area. <br />Cost: $17,400.00 <br />P. Section Specific Emergency Operations Center (EOC) Training Course. This <br />two and a half-day, 20 hour course is designed to prepare students to function <br />within their respective local government EOC sections, and builds upon the <br />knowledge gained during the Basic EOC training courses. The course will provide <br />participants with section/position specific EOC training that will highlight the <br />individual positional and sectional roles and responsibilities within an activated EOC <br />and will teach participants how to work as an EOC team. The Operations and <br />Planning Sections are paired for instruction on day 1. The Logistics and Finance <br />Sections receive instruction on day 2. Day 3 finds the Management Section and <br />Section Chiefs together for instruction. Highlighted topics of instruction include: <br />1. Review of SEMS/NIMS/ICS <br />2. Review of the role of the EOC <br />3. Internal, external, and WebEOC communications <br />4. EOC Action Planning and Action Plan Development <br />5. Effective and Efficient Resource Management <br />6. Public Information and the Joint Information Center <br />7. EOC Position Roles and Responsibilities <br />This course can accommodate up to 40 students per delivery. This course will be <br />delivered two (2) times. Willdan will supply the course materials, instructor(s), and <br />miscellaneous items (badges, name tents, signage), as well as coordinating other <br />logistical requirements. <br />Cost: $36,122.00 <br />ASAUA HSEEP Year 1 Page 10
