Staff Comments <br />Associate Planner Hally Soboleske reminded the commission about the <br />California Preservation Foundation conference in Hollywood, CA at the <br />Roosevelt Hotel on May 3-6, 2007. <br />' 4. Historic Resources Commission Comments <br />Commissioner Chinn <br />• Announced event on May 10 at the Orange County Historical Society; Jeff <br />Smith will provide a presentation on the third historical district in Anaheim. <br />• Inquired about the status of 2221 North Heliotrope. Ms. Soboleske <br />provided information. <br />• Commented on the Historic Resources Commission's role regarding code <br />enforcement. <br />• Announced that the City of Orange opened a historical room in the new <br />library. <br />• Indicated he will attend the California Preservation conference. <br />Commissioner Seeley <br />• Commented on the city guidelines for window replacements. Planning <br />Manager Haluza provided information regarding permit requirement to <br />replace windows. <br />Commissioner Stroud <br />• Requested status of the relocation for Twist-Basler house. Senior Planner <br />Klotz provided information. <br />• Inquired about accessing a listing of historical register properties.
