Staff Comments <br />No comments were made. <br />5. Historic Resources Commission Comments <br />Commissioner Chinn <br />• Commented on the Preserve America grant and funding. Planning <br />Manager Karen Haluza provided information regarding the marketing <br />efforts for the downtown area and the train depot. <br />• Indicated that the historical website needs a new server with more <br />capacity. <br />Commissioner Seeley <br />No comments <br />Commissioner Schaefer <br />• Inquired as to the Historic Commission involvement with the Renaissance <br />Plan. Planning Manager Haluza provided information. <br />• Praised the promotional video presented at the Mayor's Breakfast session. <br />Commissioner O'Callaghan <br />• Inquired about formation of sub-committees for the Renaissance plan. <br />Planning Manager Haluza provided information. <br />Commissioner Lutz <br />Inquired about the historic value (farm house) for the property at 1130 <br />North Lowell Street, (at Lowell and Washington Street) on the southwest <br />corner. <br />• Commented on restoration efforts at the Spurgeon Building and inquired <br />about maintenance for the Clock Tower. <br />Commissioner Macres <br />• Inquired if the structure at 106 West Fourth Street (previously Santa Ana <br />Lloyd's Bank) was on the historic register, and if current interior <br />renovations were authorized. Planning Manager Haluza provided <br />information. <br />• Requested status of activity at the Spurgeon Building. Planning Manager <br />Haluza provided information on the owner's application for adaptive reuse. <br />Commissioner Corpin <br />Requested report for status of the Spurgeon Building and the Clock <br />Tower.
