Staff Comments <br />Maya De Rosa announced the meeting of the Historic Ad Hoc Awards Committee <br />scheduled for March 25 to review the awards program. <br />0 <br />6. Historic Resources Commission Comments <br />Commissioner Kings <br />• Thanked staff for the Certified Local Government Report. <br />• Would like to extend notice time to two months instead of one month to allow <br />applicants more time to review policy in more detail. <br />• Would like to reinforce need for further discussion to review categorization policy. <br />Commissioner Corpin <br />• Asked for the date of the City Council meeting regarding One Broadway project; <br />response was March 15 at City Council Chambers. <br />Commissioner Chinn <br />• Requested update on loan program. Staff stated a memo of the draft program was <br />given to the Commission. Staff indicated program is available for public participation. <br />Staff indicated one application (1225 N. French Park) is moving forward and will <br />follow up. <br />• Reaf estate issue, property on Broadway, next to Seventh Day Adventist Church is <br />up for sale. Church would like to buy property and convert it to a parking lot. <br />Commissioner Bustamante <br />• Thanked the staff for all their work. <br />' Vice Chairman Schaefer <br />• Thanked the staff for their work. <br />• Inquired if possible to extend notices to applicants who do not understand the <br />categorization program.
