Recommend that the City Council direct the City Attorney to prepare and authorize the <br />City Manager and the Clerk of the Council to execute an agreement with Leanne Dedrick <br />Kieffer for the structure located at 1815 North Flower Street. <br />Lynnette Perry, Associate Planner, provided staff report and recommendation. <br />Motion to recommend that the City Council direct th8 City Attorney to prepare and <br />authorize fhe Cify Manager and the Clerk of the Coyncil fo execute an agreement <br />with Leanne Dedrick Kieffer for the structure located) at 1815 North Flower Street. <br />' MOTION: Kings SECOND: Corpin <br />AYES: Corpin, Gartner, Giles, Kings, Lutz, O'Callaghan, Schaefer (7) <br />NOES: None (0) <br />ABSENT: Chinn, Bustamante (2) <br />IMPACT OF ONE BROADWAY PLAZA ON HISTO~tIC RESOURCES <br />Commissioner Lutz recused himself from the vote due to his status as a Planning <br />Commissioner and departed the room. <br />Filed by the City of Santa Ana to formalize the Historic Resource Commissions concerns <br />regarding the proposed One Broadway Plaza project. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Adopt a resolution formalizing the Historic Resource Commissions concerns regarding <br />the proposed One Broadway Plaza project. <br />Maya DeRosa, Senior Planner, presented the staff report and recommendation. <br />Ben Grabiel inquired on the scaled development on the proposed resolution if it is <br />' consistent with the midtown specific plan. Commissioner Kings answered it was the <br />intention but did not want to name a specific developmeht. Mr. Grabiel also inquired on <br />the comments made at the previous meeting on th@ relocation of the structures. <br />Chairman Giles noted those comments were part of the environmental report and is <br />being sent to the Planning Commission. <br />Discussion ensued on the traffic impact on neighborhoods and on the traffic closure at <br />Washington Street. The resolution will be modified to add a statement that the <br />Commission is concerned about potential traffic impacts 3to the following neighborhoods: <br />French Park, French Court, Willard, Washington Square and Floral Park. <br />Motion to adopt a resolution formalizing the Histloric Resource Commissions <br />concerns regarding the proposed One Broadway Plaza project. <br />MOTION: O'Callaghan <br />SECOND: Kings <br />AYES: Corpin, Gartner, Giles, Kings, O'Callaghan, Schaefer (6) <br />NOES: None (0) <br />ABSENT: Chinn, Bustamante, Lutz (3) <br />WORK STUDY SESSION <br />' G.
