Adopt a resolution approving Historic Register Categorization Nos. 2003-33, 2003-34 <br />and 2003-38. <br />Lynnette Perry, Associate Planner, presented the staff report and recommendation. <br />Chairman Giles opened the public hearing. <br />Written communication received from Chan &Quynh Kieu, owners of the Maharajah <br />House, requesting that the property not be categorized. <br />Ms. Quynh Kieu, owner of the Maharajah House, spoke on the poor condition of the roof <br />that has caused damage to the structure and requested that the home not be <br />' categorized. <br />Phyllis Smith, owner of the Robertson House, thanked the Commission for nominating <br />their home adding they are very honored. <br />Chairman Giles closed the public hearing. <br />Discussion ensued on the design of the Maharajah House roof. <br />Commissioner Gartner recommended the Maharajah House be continued for a month <br />and volunteered to look at the roof, as did Commissioners Lutz and O'Callaghan. <br />HISTORIC RESOURCES COMMISSION MINUTES 5 AUGUST 7, 2003 <br />
