Staff Comments <br />Ms. DeRosa <br />Noted that the Commission is scheduled to hold the election of officers at the <br />January meeting. <br />7. Historic Resources Commission Comments <br />Commissioner Chinn <br />Requested a status on Commissioner Cribb's request: for review of various properties <br />on the west side of the city that allow horse stables, Mr. Edwards responded that <br />when the findings are completed a study session would be scheduled. <br />• Noted that Anaheim is doing infill with structures having a historical appearance. <br />• Noted that in the city of Carmel demolition can not pccur without an approved site <br />plan. <br />Wished all a Merry Christmas. <br />Commissioner Schaefer <br />• Encouraged all commissioners to tour the United Auto Building. <br />• Noted that the Historic Park Santiago Holiday Home Tour is scheduled for December <br />8 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. <br />Commissioner Richardson <br />• Wished everyone a Merry Christmas. <br />Commissioner O'Callaghan <br />• Noted that the plans for the modifications to the United Automotive building were not <br />complete which had put the Commissioners in a difficult position. <br />Vice Chair Giles <br />• Commented on the irregularities in the United Automotive Building process. <br />• Noted that he had received the elevations of the proposed parking garage on <br />Sycamore and that he does not concur with the standards. <br />• Invited everyone to attend the Santa Ana Historical Preservation Society Christmas <br />party at the Howe-Waffle House on December 19. <br />• Congratulated Mr. Edwards on his appointment to the position of Planning Manager. <br />Commissioner Coroin <br />• Congratulated Mr. Edwards on his appointment to the position of Planning Manager. <br />• Requested that staff review the eligibility of the church at 525 E.
