Hally Cappiello, Associate Planner, presented the staff report, recommendation, <br />and proposed changes. <br />Vice Chair Giles opened the public hearing. <br /> <br />Jo Ann Ramirez, Santa Ana Historical Preservation Society, spoke in opposition <br />of the amendment and requested a continuance until September to allow for a <br />review of the ordinance adopted by the city of Monrovia. Steve Gaffney, architect, advised that the north facade is <br />not painted and will be cleaned. Minimal work will be done on the side facing the <br />federal courthouse and that Secretary of Interior standards will be utilized. He <br />also advised that no exterior sandblasting will be done. Discussion was held <br />regarding proposed tenancy and timeline.
