Tenth Sfreet 121 Deluxe Apartments Landmark Lynnettte Perry, Associate Planner, presented the staff report and recommendation. No written communications had been received. Madam Chair Kings opened the public hearing. Warren Taylor, owner of the Deluxe Apartments located at 315 W. Tenth Street, asked why the building was being classified as a landmark. Madam Chair Kings advised him that based on research it had been determined that the building qualified for landmark status. He asked for information regarding any potential restrictions resulting from this categorization and was advised that there were no ' restrictions. Madam Chair Kings requested that staff provide Mr. Taylor with information on the loan programs and tax incentives. Edward Danoff, owner of fire Station Headquarters No. 1 located at 1322 N. Sycamore Street, advised the Commission that he had not been provided with notice when the structure was originally placed on the list. He also noted that he is opposed to the placement and categorization of the property. Madam Chair Kings requested that staff research the issue of notification at the time the property was placed on the list. George Budris, resident, spoke in support of the categorization of historic properties. Madam Chair Kings closed the public hearing. Motion to adopt a resolution approving Historic Register Cafegorization No. 2002- 87, 105, 107, 109, 111, 115, 119, 121, and to continue No. 2002-101 to May 2, 2002.
