Pursuant to Santa Ana Municipal Cody section 30-6, the Historic <br /> Resources Commission reviewed the application for approval of exterior <br /> modifications for the historic Whitson~Powelson (Historic Exterior <br /> Modification Application No. 2009-01 ). <br /> H. The project meets Secretary of the Interior's Standards for Rehabilitation in <br /> that all replacement materials will match the existing materials, and will be <br /> an equivalent quality. Repairs will be undertaken in the most sensitive way, <br /> so as to cause the least damage to surrounding historic materials. <br />• I. In accordance with the California Environmental Quality Act, the proposed <br /> project has been determined to be a Categorical Exemption per section <br /> 15301 as a restoration or rehabilitation q'F a deteriorated or damaged <br /> evelopment project consistent <br />structure, and per section 15332 as an in-fill <br /> d <br />with the General Plan and adequately se ed by utility/public services. <br /> Environmental Review No. 2009-119 will be f led for this project. <br />Section 2: The Historic Resources Commissi n of the City of Santa Ana <br />hereby approves the Certificate of Appropriateness for~the Whitson-Powelson House <br />located at 826 North Lacy Street, Santa Ana (Historic Exterior Modification Application <br />No. 2009-01). This decision is based upon, the complete record presented to the <br />Historic Resources Commission, including all public testimony, and the staff report and <br />exhibits. <br />Section 3.
