Authorize the City Manager and Clerk of the Council to execute the attached agreement <br />amendment with DMS Facility Services, to provide landscape maintenance services at five <br />park sites, extending the term for up to four months in an amount not to exceed $92,040, <br />subject to non - substantive changes approved by the City Manager and City Attorney. <br />2. Authorize the City Manager and Clerk of the Council to execute the attached agreement <br />amendment with Master Landscape, to provide landscape maintenance services at eight <br />additional park sites, extending the term for up to four months for an additional $36,077 per <br />month for a total agreement amount not to exceed $868,500 subject to non - substantive <br />changes approved by the City Manager and City Attorney. <br />3. Authorize the City Manager and Clerk of the Council to execute the attached agreement <br />amendment with Merchants Landscape, to provide landscape maintenance services at <br />various parks and public facilities, extending the term for up to five months for an additional <br />$18,762 per month for a total agreement amount not to exceed $913,194, subject to non - <br />substantive changes approved by the City Manager and City Attorney. <br />DISCUSSION <br />The Parks, Recreation and Community Services Agency ( PRCSA) currently divides the City into <br />four separate park maintenance districts. Currently, all City parks are maintained by contract <br />landscape companies. The three proposed agreement amendments will continue landscape <br />maintenance services in District 1, District 3, and properties maintained under the Public Rec <br />Facilities agreement, which includes the City's bike trail system, the Regional Transportation <br />Center and several other City properties. The three proposed agreement amendments will provide <br />services on a month to month basis through July 31 and allow PRCSA to complete the Request for <br />Proposal (RFP) process for landscape maintenance in all four park maintenance districts. The <br />new RFP will include a revised specification designed to continue high quality maintenance in key <br />service areas while reducing overall costs. <br />25H -1 <br />
