The City and Association agree that upon the expiration of this Agreement and during the period of good faith negotiations for a subsequent contract, salary and benefits shall continue at the then current rate. Any employee covered by this Agreement who successfully completes the Homeland Security Executive Leaders Program shall be paid at a rate set five (5) salary rate ranges (approximately 2.5%) above his or her then current base monthly salary step.
