10.1.1 Contractor shall laser grade each ball diamond. Contractor shall scarify <br />drag built up amounts of materials at high spots and cut and level drag <br />the scarified material to low spots. The Contractor shall fill any <br />remaining low spots with new Gail Materials "Pro Gold with Stabilizer" <br />brickdust from stock and make level. <br />Note: Staff shall identify areas to scarify/cut and level drag at <br />the November meeting with contractor's owner (as per <br />section 6.3 of contract). <br />10.1.2 Contractor shall verify all base distances, pitching rubber distances and <br />pitching mound heights per the Little League, Pony/Colt League <br />specifications for each specific field. Contractor shall repair any <br />specifications not being met on any field. <br />10.1.3 In addition, contractor shall install 1/2" new Gail Materials "Pro-gold <br />with Stabilizer" (brickdust) to in-fields at all diamonds (minimum 26 <br />tons per Girls Softball/Major Little League Field and minimum 40 tons <br />per Junior/Senior Little League Field). Also, the contractor shall install a <br />minimum of 1 ton of Turface calcite clay per Girls Softball/Major Little <br />League Field and 2 tons of Turface calcite clay to Junior/Senior Little <br />League Fields Responsibility for and purchase of necessary materials <br />shall be at contractor's expense. <br />Note: The City has the right to move brickdust and Turface <br />materials to other infields under this agreement should <br />they decide that an infield or infields do not require <br />additional materials a particular year. <br />11.0 Work To Be Completed "AS DIRECTED" <br />11.1 Replace Base ANCHORS as directed. <br />Note: City of Santa Ana use's the Roger's Breakaway base <br />anchoring system. Contractor shall install base anchors <br />into the ground per manufacturer's standards. Top of <br />stake shall be approximately 2" below the surface grade <br />so that the base sits level and flush against the surface on <br />all sides. <br />11.2 Replace Bases as directed. <br />Note: City of Santa Ana shall be responsible for supplying all <br />necessary base anchors and/or bases to the contractor as <br />needed. <br />11.3 Replace or Remove/Level/Re-Install home plates as directed. <br />42 <br />19C-44
