REQUEST FOR HOUSING <br />AUTHORITY ACTION <br />MEETING DATE: <br />FEBRUARY 22, 2011 <br />TITLE <br />QUARTERLY REPORT FOR <br />HOUSING CHOICE VOUCHER <br />PROGRAM; <br />OCTOBER 2010 -DECEMBER 2090 <br />RECORDING SECRETARY USE ONLY: <br />APPROVED <br />^ As Recom-nended <br />^ As Amended <br />CONTiNi.~ED TO <br />At its Regular Meeting of February 15, 2011, by a vote of 5:0 (Bist absent), the Community <br />Redevelopment and Housing Commission recommended that the Housing Authority receive and <br />file the Quarterly Report for Housing Choice Voucher Program {October 2010 -December 2010). <br />DISCUSSION <br />The October 2010 -December 2010 quarterly status report for the Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) <br />Rental Assistance Program provides statistics for the day-to-day activities of the Santa Ana <br />Housing Authority. The report is divided into three sections: Waiting List, Participants, and <br />Production. <br />Waiting List <br />The Housing Authority <br />completed a purge of the wait <br />list in December 2010. As of <br />December 31, 20'10 there were <br />4,204 individualslfamilies on the <br />waiting list. The waiting list <br />opened October 1, 2007 and <br />closed November 30, 2007. <br />1.
