The project total cost was $500,000. <br /> • Carl Thornton Park Re-pavement. The proj ect rehabilitated the bike trail going <br /> through Carl Thornton Park. Project cost was about $100,000. <br /> 12. The City has no funding mechanism for improving or implementation new bicycle <br /> facilities. The City relies on obtaining grant funding and providing matching fund to <br /> leverage the limited available City funds. Overall, the City has a need for new bike <br /> facilities in the corresponding financial need. <br /> 13.
