EXHIBIT B <br />Scope of Work <br />Scope of Services <br />Consultant shall provide consulting services in adherence to the Memorandum of Understanding for the <br />Orange County Regional Narcotics Suppression Program (RNSP), in the capacity that information is <br />presented to the RNSP Executive Board through the task force Program Manager. Consultant will <br />provide the task force Program Manager with the professional knowledge necessary for the Program <br />Manager to effectively oversee and direct task force personnel sworn to enforce local, state and federal <br />statutes. In addition, these services shall include professional insight and recommendations for effective <br />operational management, adhering to program policies as they relate to the Los Angeles High Intensity <br />Drug Target Area (LA HIDTA) and the Office of National Drug Control Policy (ONDCP), State and <br />Federal Asset Sharing Guidelines, County of Orange's accounting procedures, and perform these duties <br />as assigned or directed by the Orange County Regional Narcotics Suppression Program's Program <br />Manager or the RNSP Executive Board. <br />O p e rational Ove rsi eht <br />Consultant shall review the necessity of task force overtime and adjusted scheduling for Program <br />Manager approval, assist in the coordination and activities of investigative teams, and act as liaison <br />during joint investigation. Consultant shall be expected to travel on a local, state, national and <br />international level when necessary, collaborating with other law enforcement agencies to support the <br />mission and the objectives ofthe Regional Narcotics Suppression Program. <br />Operational Outcome <br />The Consultant will report, as required, to the task force Program Manager or Executive Board for the <br />Orange County Regional Narcotics Suppression Program. The operational update report will consist of <br />quarterly statistics and goals as well as the tactical and strategic policies being implemented to meet the <br />goals and objectives of the Orange County Regional Narcotics Suppression Program. At the direction <br />and with the approval of the Program Manager, similar reports as delineated above will be presented by <br />the Consultant to the LA HIDTA Executive Board. <br />Compensation <br />These services will be provided to the Santa Ana Police Department amonthly rate of $11,700.00 and <br />will be billed on a monthly basis with a minimum number of 40 hours per week. Invoices will be <br />prepared listing the number of hours worked each month and a description of the work performed. The <br />total amount to be expended pursuant to this Agreement shall not exceed $23,700.00. <br />
