Provide referrals to the Fair Housing Council of Orange County when the <br />Authority receives complaints of possible housing discrimination. <br />2. Invite the Fair Housing Council of Orange County to make presentations to <br />Authority staff regarding equal opportunities for fair housing (at least one <br />presentation per year). <br />3. Assist the City with preparation and implementation of the Analysis of <br />Impediments to Fair Housing Choice. <br />4. Include fair housing information in all tenant briefing packets. <br />5. Provide fair housing information and materials at all landlord training <br />sessions. <br />• Undertake affirmative measures to provide a suitable living environment for <br />families living in assisted housing, regardless of race, color, religion national <br />origin, sex, familial status, and disability: See above. <br />• Undertake affirmative measures to ensure accessible housing to persons with all <br />varieties of disabilities regardless of unit size required: See above. <br />❑ Other: (list below) <br />Other PHA Goals and Objectives: (list below) <br />- Ensure consistency with Santa Ana's Consolidated Plan, Santa Ana Housing Authority <br />Agency Plan and Administrative Plan by participating in the preparation of the City's <br />Consolidated Plan and annual action plans. <br />- Continue to improve customer service through the use of Total Quality Management <br />techniques. To assist with this assessment, all Housing Choice Voucher participants will <br />be surveyed for feedback on quality of customer service. <br />- Continue to provide life skills seminars to program participants. <br />- Maintain program integrity by ensuring all federal regulations are observed, and by <br />aggressively investigating possible program fraud. <br />- Implement computerized rent- comparables program. <br />- Create positive awareness and expand the level of family, owner, and community support <br />for the Housing Choice Voucher program. <br />- Maintain a high level of standards and professionalism in the day -to -day management of <br />the Authority. <br />Exhibit 1 <br />Page 5 of 5 <br />
