Painting <br />Painting a wood fence or block wall: <br />2. <br />3. <br />by the PWA Abatement Team Staff. <br />can be waived by management, as <br />❖ For unpainted surfaces, obtain permission to paint from the property <br />owner prior to painting. <br />❖ After obtaining permission paint the entire surface with the color <br />selected by the property owner. <br />❖ For a surface previously painted a City primary color, you may square - <br />out the graffiti twice, and on the third abatement coat, paint top to <br />bottom covering the area with the two square -outs. <br />❖ For a surface that has not been painted a City primary color, square -out <br />the graffiti twice, on the third abatement coat, paint top to bottom <br />covering the entire side of the fence or wall with the City's primary <br />color. <br />❖ For a block wall with columns, graffiti may be squared out once, for a <br />small tag. If the wall with columns has a large tag or already has one <br />square out, the graffiti must be abated from column to column, top to <br />bottom.. <br />Spray Painting <br />❖ Except for traffic signal poles that are to be painted beginning at 6 ft in <br />height and down and all the way around the pole, all spray painting <br />should be the square out method. <br />Water Blasting <br />4 <br />
