Section 3. The City Council of the City of Santa Ana hereby authorizes and <br />directs the Chief of Police or the City Manager to execute and submit all documents and <br />take necessary action, for and on behalf of the City of Santa Ana, a public entity <br />established under the laws of the State of California, for the purpose of obtaining federal <br />financial assistance provided by the federal Department of Homeland Security and sub <br />granted through the State of California. <br />Section 4. The City Council of the City of Santa Ana hereby authorizes and <br />directs the City Attorney to prepare and authorizes the Chief of Police or the City <br />Manager to enter into reimbursement agreements for equipment, services, training, or <br />exercises with cities and counties located in the Southern Planning Area and with and <br />contractors/consultants providing such services and/or goods in conjunction with the FY <br />2010 IECGP. <br />Section 5. The City Council of the City of Santa Ana hereby approves an <br />Appropriation Adjustment recognizing the FY 2010 IECGP in the amount of $1,972,980 <br />and appropriates the same in the FY 2010 IECGP expenditure accounts. <br />Section 6. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption by <br />the City Council and the Clerk of the Council shall attest to and certify the vote adopting <br />this Resolution. <br />ADOPTED this 18th day of April, 2011. <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br />Office of the City Attorney <br />J <br />By: <br />4saTer L.
