Funding Allocations for the HOPWA <br />Program FY 201'1 - 2012 <br />May 2, 2011 <br />Page 2 <br />In order to ensure that the limited funds are prioritized, Housing Authority staff has worked closely <br />with the Housing Committee of the Orange County HIV Planning Council, the HIV Planning <br />Council, and agencies throughout the County of Orange providing services to the HNIAIDS <br />community. On December 9, 2010, a strategic planning meeting was held to determine priorities <br />for the fiscal year 2011-2012 funds. Representatives from the Orange County Health Care <br />Agency, service providers from throughout the county, HIV/AIDS infected and affected individuals <br />and Hauling Authority staff participated in the meeting. <br />Based on the strategic planning meeting, the 2011-2012 fiscal year funding recommendations <br />were established.
