The Water Department requested to lower the new 12" PVC water main on the west <br />side of Raitt Street from 5`h Street to Civic Center Drive. After excavation, the proposed <br />connection was 4 feet below the depth required by the contract. Therefore, the tie -in <br />required additional excavation, shoring, fittings, thrust blocks and pipe. Prior approval <br />was obtained on September 15, 2011. <br />FINAL COST = $8,076 <br />
