one instructor is a member of the regional Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) team <br />and the third instructor is a Hostage Negotiator. The training delivered from these <br />individuals will be of the highest level. The training affords the students a special <br />opportunity to learn from actual incident responders, as well as, examine the complexities <br />of this type of incident <br />The audience will be made up of Orange County Operational Area SWAT team <br />members, Orange County Bomb Squad and Orange County Operational Area Terrorism <br />Liaison Officers (TLOs) These Orange County TLOs will come from multiple agencies <br />and multiple disciplines, to include (Law/Fire/Health). This training will also be offered <br />to the greater Southern California response community as well. <br />The class will support 150-200 attendees for each delivery (600-800 total). The class will <br />be held at a venue mutually agreed upon by KIPP, OCIAC and the OCSD. <br />The total price for the aforementioned training and training support covered within this <br />proposal is $11,484.00. KIPP will coordinate with the OCIAC and the venue in order to <br />provide audiovisual equipment (projector and laptop) and all student materials as <br />mutually determined. OCIAC will provide the participants or students in this training, <br />and KIPP will coordinate with them on this requirement. KIPP will provide for all <br />instructor logistical costs. There will be no costs associated outside of this proposal. For <br />reference, KIPP is a registered vendor and a California Corporation in good standing that <br />is a Veteran Owned Small Business with its offices located in Long Beach, in the County <br />of Los Angeles, in a California Enterprise Zone. <br />Below are the dates for the four (4) Discovery Channel Incident - Response Complexities <br />for January 2011: <br />1) January 25, 2011 (AM) <br />2) January 25, 2011 (PM) <br />3) January 26, 2011 (AM) <br />4) January 26, 2011 (PM)
