community centered, focusing largely on stakeholder and <br />community outreach to develop parking solutions that fit <br />the unique nature of the South Lake Tahoe community. <br />Strategies and recommendations focus less on "building <br />our way out of the parking problem" and more on realizing <br />better efficiencies and management in the community's <br />existing infrastructure. Efforts <br />also included extensive coordination with area business <br />owners and tenants to identify and define the parking <br />problems and issues and development of creative solutions <br />from the Chamber of Commerce on this project.
