RESOLUTION 2011-444 <br />REVENUE <br />ACCOUNT DEPARTMENT/MISCELLANEOUS FEE OR SERVICE UNIT <br />SECTION IX PLANNING & BUILDING AGENCY <br />Projects prior to May 18, 2009, shall be subject to the fees indicated in Resolution 2009-018 <br />REFUNDS <br />Upon written request from the permittee, refunds of permit <br />fees may be made to the permittee in an amount equal to 80% <br />of the permit fee, exclusive of the plan check and issuance <br />fee; except that no permit fees shall be refunded under any <br />ofthe following circumstances: <br />(1) 180 days has elapsed from the date of the issuance <br />of the permit <br />(2) inspections have been performed by the Building Safety <br />Division <br />If a permit has been issued for a project located in an area <br />outside ofthe jurisdiction ofthe City, 100% ofthe permit <br />and plan check fee may be refunded. If a permit has been <br />erroneously issued, 100% of the permit and plan check fee <br />may be refunded. <br />If a plan check fee has been paid and the plan is withdrawn <br />by the applicant prior to the plan check, refunds of plan <br />check fees may be made to the permittee in an amount equal <br />to 100% of the plan check fee in excess of $38.25 paid. <br />no other case may any plan check fees be refunded. <br />51601 SPECIAL INVESTIGATION FEE <br />51602 <br />51603 A special investigation fee shall be charged by the Building <br />51611 Official for any investigation of a building structural work, <br />51604 reports, certification, or any other related work requested by <br />51606 an owner or his authorized agent. Said fee shall be assessed <br /> in an amount sufficient to reimburse the City for the costs <br /> actually incurred by the City based upon a rate of $80.00 per hour <br /> but in no case shall be less than $80.00. <br />51601 VIOLATION/INVESTIGATION FEES <br />51602 <br />51603 When any work for which a permit is required has been <br />51611 commenced without the authorization of such permit, an <br />51604 investigation may be required before a permit will be issued <br />51606 for such work.
