We <br />always keep our upper level management in the know so that nothing can fall through <br />the cracks. <br />The following Is Marina's Accident/Safety Prevention Plan: <br />ACCIDENT/SAFETY PREVENTION PLAN <br />A. It Is the policy of Marina Landscape, Inc. to provide the safest possible working <br />environment for our employees, as well as for any subcontractors working on one <br />of our project. The safety procedures as outlined by OSHA and CAL -OSHA shall be <br />of primary Importance to all employees and subcontractors working for us. Safety <br />procedures shall be strictly adhered to. <br />B. All subcontractors prior to starting work will be briefed by the Superintendent on <br />the Safety Plan with special attention paid to those subjects appropriate to this <br />project. <br />C. No asbestos material is anticipated, but If encountered, It will be reported to the <br />Contracting Officer In writing and In no way will be disturbed. <br />D. Debris and rubbish will be removed and transported In a manner that will prevent <br />spillage on streets or other areas in which it may cause a safety risk. Clean up and <br />sweeping will be on a continuous basis. Marina Contractors will comply with all <br />Federal, State and Local hauling and disposal regulations. <br />E. Each employee, prior to commencing any work on this project, shall be thoroughly <br />briefed by the project superintendent on the proper safety procedures and accident <br />reporting. The superintendent and the job Foreman shall explain to the employee <br />any and all hazards pertinent to his portion of work he may encounter. <br />OUTLINE OF SAFETY PLAN <br />There will be on-the-job safety training in regards to power tools and equipment. <br />All skill saws must have guards and must be in good working condition at all times. <br />Saw horses, etc. must also be used. <br />2. Subcontractors will be arriving on the job -site as per contract schedule. It is <br />mandatory they attend our Safety Meetings on Monday mornings at 7:00 a.m. If <br />the subcontractors so desire to have their own safety meetings, Marina will require <br />a written report of their meetings every Tuesday by 12:00 p.m. <br />3. Marina Landscape will contact the County of Orange to obtain information on the <br />County's requirements. <br />
