the following strategies and activities: <br />:• WIA Corpsmember satisfaction surveys; <br />:• WIA Corpsmember community meetings monthly that involve all staff and <br />Corpsmembers; <br />:• Work sponsor survey evaluation when a work project is completed <br />•:• Monthly internal monitoring meetings for program compliance/performance; <br />:• Two (2) staff development days for full staff that relate to program evaluation, mission, planning, etc; <br />4• Multiple program/grant site reviews and audits for program/grant compliance; <br />:• Annual corps certification review; <br />:• Annual independent financial audit; <br />:• Annual program evaluations by Corpsmembers, staff, and Board members; <br />•:• An annual Board of Directors planning day; <br />:• An annual Executive Director workplan that is monitored by the Board <br />7. Describe how adequate staffing will be maintained to ensure success of this program. Recruiter will <br />be responsible for recruiting and will allocate a portion of their time to specifically <br />recruit Santa Ana youth. The Program Specialist (case manager) assigned to the Santa Ana <br />WIA contract will be responsible for ensuring enrollment goals are met and will also allocate a <br />portion of their time to recruitment. Selected Santa Ana Corpsmembers will be trained to <br />accompany staff and provide "peer recruitment" to assist staff with street outreach and help <br />organize and manage the Corps' booths at the various Santa Ana job fairs and community <br />events. Other Corps staff may also provide recruitment through ongoing collaborations and <br />networking with other agencies county-wide as in-kind support of this proposal. <br />F. Facilities <br />1. State location where program services will be delivered. Describe what makes your facility youth <br />friendly and suitable for the proposed activities/services. Paid work experience will be at various <br />project sites throughout the county depending on the current work project assigned; All other program <br />services (education, case management, transition services, follow up, etc.) will generally be delivered at <br />the Orange County Conservation Corps' main site in Anaheim. All classrooms are equipped with <br />computers and internet access for Corpsmember use. Pictures of Corpsmember accomplishments and <br />success boards are displayed throughout the facility. A resource area is designated in the facility for <br />Corpsmembers to access medical, health, leadership council applications, and human resource <br />information. A Corpsmember feedback box is available for Corpsmembers to provide suggestions or <br />request additional services. <br />2. How will participant access site if not within City of Santa Ana boundaries? Both daily and <br />monthly bus passes are made available to Corpsmembers at our main facility. Carpooling is also <br />encouraged. <br />3. List hours of operation? Will facility be available during non-traditional hours? The Orange <br />County Conservation Corps offices are open Monday-Thursday from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm and Friday <br />from 8:00 am to noon. Additional week-end and evening hours to be arranged depending on individual <br />participant needs, scheduled events, and activities. <br />4. Is the facility compliant with the Americans with Disability Act (ADA)? The Orange County <br />Conservation Corps' facility is compliant with the Americans with Disability Act (ADA). <br />5. Discuss how Internet access will be available to program staff. List computer <br />programs/applications used by agency staff. All staff members have Internet access though a <br />dedicated hi-speed data connection with a redundant syncronous T1 to ensure sufficient bandwidth <br />requirements and availability.
