c) Share information on promising practices and proven methods in dislocated worker <br />programming, including effective Rapid Response strategies. <br />d) Communicate on policy and operational issues pertaining to effective implementation of the <br />Multi-Sector Partners' NEG-funded project. <br />e) Where applicable, share information on local program results and information on new, <br />relevant workforce development initiatives with participating local workforce investment <br />areas, the State of California, the SBWIB, Inc. and the U.S. Department of Labor with <br />assistance from the California Workforce Association. <br />f) Participate in monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc project coordination meetings. <br />7. ROLE OF THE SOUTH BAY WORKFORCE INVESTMENT BOARD, INC. <br />The South Bay Workforce Investment Board, Inc. will serve as the grant recipient, fiscal agent, and <br />administrative entity for the Multi-Sector Partnership, and, in these capacities, will collaborate with: the <br />Partnership's state-level partners, regional single points of contact, and the California Workforce <br />Association to manage successful implementation of all NEG-funded activities, including compliance <br />with all U.S. Department of Labor rules and regulations pertaining to activities conducted under the <br />federal Workforce Investment Act of 1998. Such duties shall include leadership and administration of all <br />NEG-funded activities of the Multi-Sector Partnership. <br />8. REGIONAL PROJECT MANAGEMENT <br />In order to supplement communications and activity coordination in sub-regions of the project area, the <br />Sacramento County, Merced County, and South Bay WIBs will serve as single points of contact (SPOCs) <br />on project management issues specific to Northern, Central, and Southern California, respectively.
