The Housing Authority has exhausted the current agreement <br />for $10,000, which began on April 1, 2003. <br />Several cases have been referred to the consultant for investigation, and <br />the results have provided valuable information for the Authority's <br />decisions to terminate assistance to participants due to fraud. The <br />scope of services provided includes comprehensive database checks, <br />employment verification, surveillance and personal representation at <br />informal hearings. The term extension and additional $25,000 will allow <br />the Housing Authority to continue its Tenant Integrity Program and to <br />ensure that those receiving assistance are in full compliance with <br />program regulations. <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />Funds are available in the Assisted Housing Other Contractual Services <br />account (account no. 140- 133 - 6291). <br />dl��j <br />Jo P.
