Section 3 <br />Work Activities Covered by Health and <br />Safety Plan <br />The general tasks performed by CONTRACTOR field crews will consist of: <br />(1) inspecting storm drainage facilities (catch basins or channels); (2) measuring and <br />documenting depth of accumulated debris; and (3) cleaning debris from each <br />drainage facility. <br />These activities will require CONTRACTOR crews to locate City of Santa Ana <br />drainage facilities located in commercial, residential, and industrial areas. The main <br />issues of concern are traffic/vehicle hazards, driving, heavy lifting (manholes covers), <br />and potential heat stress. <br />3-1 <br />19E-26
