Housing Authority <br />5-Year and Annual Plans <br />April 3, 2000 <br />Page 2 <br />In January of this year the Housing Authority sent a survey to all of the <br />current program participants in order to assess their needs. Of those <br />surveyed, 157 families indicated interest in attending the informational <br />meeting on Saturday, February 12. The survey also invited participation <br />on the Tenant Advisory Board which will have its first meeting on <br />February 28, This survey and a summary of the data, as well as all <br />comments received, are included in the Annual. Plan. <br />The Public Housing Authority plan concept is based on the consolidated <br />planning process currently used for HUD's community planning and <br />development program. To the extent practical, the Annual Plan will <br />eventually consolidate all of the Housing Authority's information that is <br />required to be submitted under HUD's existing planning and reporting <br />requirements. <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />There is no fiscal impact associated with this action. <br />Cynthia J.
