Route 5 /Route 55 Freeway Interchange with HOV Connectors in Tustin & Santa <br />Ana, California for Caltrans - District 12 thru RBF Consultants. Work consisted of <br />Design Surveys as construction project proceeds which could be topographic surveys, <br />cross - sections, volume computations, utility locations, and other miscellaneous design <br />surveys. Work also consisted of Right -of -Way Surveys as follows: search for existing <br />right -of -way monumentation on Route 5 and on Route 55, tie monuments to control, <br />and tie monuments to be destroyed by construction to reference monuments; search for <br />existing centerline and right -of -way monuments on cross - streets and on side streets, tie <br />monuments to control, and tie monuments to be destroyed by construction to reference <br />monuments; after construction, reset monuments destroyed by construction; after <br />construction, set monuments at new right -of -way points of control; assist in preparation <br />of post- construction Survey Control Maps; and perform any centerline or boundary <br />surveys necessary for the preparation of Records of Surveys. <br />Arroyo Seco Bridge on the Pasadena Blue Line in Los Angeles, California for the <br />Metropolitan Transportation Authority through Kiewit Pacific Company — <br />Construction staking for removal, widening reconstruction and reinstallation of the <br />historic Arroyo Seco Bridge. <br />PGT /PG & E Pipeline Expansion Project through Idaho, Washington, Oregon <br />and California for the Bechtel Corporation thru Towill, Inc. Overall project involved <br />building a new 800 mile long 42" gas line, meter stations, and compressor stations <br />parallel to an existing gas pipeline from the Canadian border to Panoche, California <br />through Idaho, Washington, Oregon and California. Our portion of the project (Reach 5) <br />is 227 miles long from Panoche north to Delevan, all in California. Work consisted of <br />establishing the construction limits, locating the existing pipeline and marking its <br />location in the field, placing offset stakes for location of new pipeline, vertical control <br />surveys, as -built survey of the new pipeline to document the constructed location of the <br />pipe and facilities (as -built survey includes: measuring the length of installed pipe; <br />station each weld; recording pipe information for each length of pipe; station each <br />horizontal and vertical pipeline bend and degree of bend; obtain depth of corner; <br />horizontal and vertical details for each road, canal, railroad, river, and utilities crossing; <br />locate and detail all appurtenances such as valves, blow -down assemblies, test leads <br />and cathodic protection; profile pipeline; etc.), and prepared as -built drawings from <br />survey field notes as the project proceeded. <br />Mojave Siphon at Silverwood Lake in San Bernardino County for the CA <br />Department of Water Resources thru C.R. Fedrick, Inc. Work consisted of <br />construction staking of the second pipeline of the Mojave Siphon on the California <br />Aqueduct; horizontal and vertical alignment; rough grade /slope stake 11,000 L.F. for the <br />triple barrel pipeline; blue top 33,000 L.F. of 144" pipe; quantity surveys; stake blowoff <br />structures and manholes; rough grade /slope stake and finish grade Route #173 detour <br />and site roads "A ", "B ", "C" and "D "; stake culverts;, stake inlet structures; and layout <br />control buildings. <br />
