Gwen del Castillo, P.L.S. <br />PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE <br />Project Surveyor - Office <br />Ms. del Castillo has over thirty years of surveying experience in southern <br />California, was licensed as a Land Surveyor in California in 1982 as L.S. 5108, <br />COAST <br />and has an AA degree in surveying from Santa Rosa College. Ms. del Castillo <br />has had extensive experience in boundary analysis, preparation and checking of <br />SURVEYING, INC. <br />legal descriptions and maps, checking of final subdivision maps and Records <br />of Surveys, research, as well as providing internal checking and quality control. <br />Nis. del Castillo has also had extensive experience in field note reduction, <br />calculations, preparation of as -built plans, and GIS database setup, input, <br />YEARS OF EXPERIENCE <br />review, analysis and output. <br />Total Years Experience: 33 Years <br />PROJECT SURVEYOR EXPERIENCE <br />With Coast: 27 Years <br />With Other Firms: 6 Years <br />California State Prison at Corcoran II — Ms. del Castillo was the Project <br />Surveyor at Coast Surveying, Inc. (Coast) for the Site Engineering Services <br />contract awarded to Holmes & Narver, Inc.(H &N) for the new expansion of <br />EDUCATION <br />Corcoran State Prison. Coast's Scope of work included aerial mapping, photo <br />control, horizontal and vertical control, boundary surveys, Record of Survey, <br />Degree: Associate of Arts <br />legal descriptions, design surveys to locate utilities, power line elevations, <br />Specialization: Land Surveying <br />drainage structures, cross - section drainage channels and streets, and tie -into <br />Year: 1976 <br />improvements along the outside of the existing facility. <br />Santa Rosa College <br />Interstate .5 /State Route 55lnterehan —Ms. del Castillo was the Project <br />Surveyor at Coast Surveying, Inc., which provided surveys for RBF & <br />Degree: Continuing Education <br />Associates in support of their multi - million dollar, Caltrans 12 highway <br />Specialization: Land Surveying <br />construction project. Ms. del <br />Castillo was in charge of the right of way portion which consisted of: <br />• Preparation and /or review of legal descriptions and sketches, acreage <br />calculations, and exhibits for various properties. <br />• Preparation and revision of constraints maps. <br />• Review of preliminary title reports along with revisions or updates. <br />• Providing fee credit acreage calculations and exhibit maps. <br />• Reviewing final policies of title and policy binders for accuracy of <br />descriptions. <br />• Preparation of utility easements using field gathered topographic <br />information and as -built construction plans, post construction. <br />
