ATTACHMENT A 2011-DJ-BX-2532 <br />Proiect identifiers: See JAG Identifiers (attached) <br />Community Policing- Effective community collaboration and interaction will require patrol officers <br />to be more accessible to community members. By having laptops in the patrol vehicles, officers can <br />maximize their time in the field and allow themselves to be available to the community they serve. <br />Adjudication- The purchase of new laptops will allow vital audio and video evidence to be presented in <br />court to assist in the prosecution of criminals. <br />Computer Software/Hardware- The purchase of 6 laptops will allow for officers to be more efficient <br />while working in the field. <br />Budget and Budget Narrative: Outline how JAG funds will be used to support and implement the <br />program. Include a breakdown of costs (i.e. Personnel, Training/Travel, Equipment, Supplies, <br />Consultants/Contracts, & an Other category) <br />Equipment costs- $8,281 (6 laptops at approx. $1,380 each) <br />Administrative fee - $920 <br />PROACT contribution-$1,022 <br />Timeline and/or proiect plan: Identify when the goals and objectives will be completed <br />Purchase will proceed immediately upon approval of funding; project plan will begin upon receipt of <br />equipment. <br />Funding: <br />Total Allocation: $10,223 <br />PROACT Contribution: (10%) $1,022 <br />Administrative Fee (9%): $920 <br />Funds Retained by City/County: $8,281 <br />2011-DJ-BX-2532 <br />Page 36 of 38 <br />20A-44
