COST REASONABLENESS <br /> (8 pages maximum for this section) <br /> <br /> <br /> A. Budget <br /> 1. Use Budget Form (Attachment C, page 32) to outline the program's budget. <br /> Budgets will be reviewed for accuracy and completeness. All proposals will be reviewed <br /> for costs that are allowable under WIA, necessary, reasonable and competitive, as <br /> measured by the review of the line item budget, the program design and the comparison <br /> to all other proposals. <br /> <br /> B. Budget Narrative <br /> 1. Include a detailed narrative that outlines each line item listed on the Budget Form as well <br /> as a <br /> <br /> description of how costs will be allocated to the program. Budget Narratives will be <br /> reviewed to ensure that cost is justified and reasonable for the activities/services <br /> proposed, applicant is not solely relying on WIA funds, and project is leveraging funds <br /> from other resources. <br /> 2. Provide and explain the pertinent documents/forms that will be used to track work <br /> experience compensation or participant incentives (i.e.: timecards, sign-in sheets, etc.) <br /> 3. Provide supportive service policy if program will provide participants with supportive <br /> services. <br /> 4. Provide incentive policy if program will provide participants with incentives. <br /> <br /> <br /> IV. ATTACHMENTS <br /> <br /> A.
