SERVICES <br />3.1 CONTRACTOR shall engage participants for the number of hours as <br />referred by WTW staff. <br />3.2 Individual CalWORKs WTW participation requirements are currently <br />as follows and are subject to change according to State and Federal mandates: <br />3.2.1 Thirty-two (32) hours per week in approved WTW activities <br />for a one (1) parent Assistance Unit and a two (2) parent Assistance Unit in <br />which deprivation is based on the disability of one (1) parent: or <br />3.2.2 Thirty-five (35) hours per week in approved WTW activities <br />for two (2) parent Assistance Units. One (1) parent can satisfy the total <br />thirty-five (35) hour requirement. If both parents contribute to the thirty- <br />five (35) hour requirement then at least one parent shall participate a <br />minimum of twenty (20) hours per week. <br />3.3 VTR is a temporary, transitional, and short-term educational <br />activity, not to exceed twelve (12) months, to prepare participants for <br />employment in a specific trade, occupation, or vocation. VTR activities must <br />be provided by vocational-technical schools, postsecondary institutions or <br />proprietary schools. VTR activities shall be made available to participants <br />in areas identified as growth oriented, current or emerging occupation, <br />meeting an unmet community need, and in high demand for new employees. VTR <br />activities shall include, but not be limited to, the following: <br />3.3.1 Certified Nurse's Assistant <br />3.3.2 Office Technology <br />3.3.3 Child Care Provider <br />3.3.4 Medical Liens Collections <br />(WAM08A11) <br />3of18 <br />(January 9. 2012)
