Based upon the foregoing, the subject property meets the minimal <br />standards of the landmark category pursuant to Section 30-2.2(1) <br />of the Santa Ana Municipal Code. <br />4. The legal owner of the subject property are the Santora Partners. <br />5. The legal description for the subject property is attached hereto as <br />Exhibit A and incorporated by this reference as though fully set <br />forth herein. <br />C. The Dr. Raymond Smith House, located at 1315 North Broadway, Santa <br />Ana has unique architectural significance as a relatively rare example of <br />the combination of Colonial Revival detailing with Queen Anne Revival <br />style. <br />1. The "witch cap" turret, bays and porch are signature elements of <br />the Queen Anne style and the Palladian windows, garland friezes, <br />dentils, and Tuscan columns are derived from the Colonial Revival <br />style. <br />2. The structure appears eligible for listing in the National Register of <br />Historic Places as well as on the California Register. Based upon <br />the foregoing, the subject property meets the minimal standards of <br />the landmark category pursuant to Section 30-2.2(1) of the Santa <br />Ana Municipal Code. <br />3. The Old Orange County Courthouse, located at 211 West Santa Ana <br />Boulevard, Santa Ana, has historical/cultural significance to the city of <br />Santa Ana as a manifestation of the prominent role of Santa Ana in the <br />history of Orange County. <br />1. The structure has unique architectural significance as a rare <br />example of the Richardson Romanesque architecture which is <br />illustrated by its symmetrical design, a hipped and gabled roof of <br />metal made to resemble tile, a facade with five bays, the center and <br />end bays raised and topped by steeply pitched front gables <br />accented by wall dormers, a slightly overhanging cornice <br />punctuated by corbel block circles circling the building, a corbeled <br />belt course, a second story with a band of five arched openings <br />containing recessed windows, and side elevations with secondary <br />entries within single arches. <br />2.
