Ellen Seefeldt, Gallery Director of Avantgarden, The Art Gallery — <br />"Since Downtown Inc. took over the art walk, we have had nothing but improvements in the surrounding area <br />with new restaurants, a cleaner environment, more security, family friendly events in the promenade, and full <br />support for the Artists Village. 1 was invited to be a part of the marketing committee during their first year and <br />was impressed with how DTI handled all the requests for support from, not only the arts community, but from <br />Calle Cuatro merchants, and organizers of all the events that make the city great." <br />Dennis Dascanio, Property Owner & DTI Board Member — <br />"As a DTI Board member, 1 have never known there to be any kind of pension or 401K program available to <br />employees or members. All financial records are available for viewing on -line. We serve as volunteers and all <br />employees are loyal to the advancement of the business district and it's surrounding areas. The meetings are <br />open to the public, and input is openly requested. Opposition and discussion is a fundamental and integral part <br />of public functions and forums, such as the PBID. Slander or defamation only hurts the advancements that are <br />the mission of the DTI. Results, however, speak far louder than words, and the results attained by DTI in <br />the PBID area in such a short period of time are stunning." <br />17 <br />
