As <br />shown, the measured noise levels during daytime hours in and around the project site ranged from <br />61 to 63A- weighted decibels (dBA) equivalent continuous noise level (Leq). <br />Table 3 -14. Existing Noise Volumes <br />Regulatory Background: Noise Standards and Thresholds of Significance <br />The proposed project is subject to the policies and standards contained in the Noise Element of the <br />City of Santa Ana's General Plan and the City's Noise Ordinance. <br />Table 1 of the City's General Plan Noise Element sets interior and exterior noise limits for residential <br />land uses at 45 dBA and 65 dBA CNEL4, respectively.
